HW: In a 5 paragraph journal answer these questions: Is pain redemptive? What is the purpose of human suffering? Do you agree that "life closes before its close"? Explain your opinions by refuting or affirming three lines from Dickenson's poems, "My life closed twice before its close-" and "There's a certain Slant of light,".
Make sure to include (and underline) a minimum of three vocabulary words from Unit 9.
